Animate Girls Festival (AGF) 2026 in Ikebukuro, tickets, goods and how we help

What AGF is

AGF is a large annual event in Ikebukuro, run by the Animate Girls Festival Executive Committee. It brings together anime, comics, voice actors, goods, otome games and cosplay. The 2026 theme is “Decoration”, and the special sponsor is Ajinomoto AGF.

How the tickets work

A ticket is required for the main venue. You enter by queue number within your ticket's time window, so you cannot pick an exact time.

• Fast ticket (entry 9:00–10:00, e-ticket): sold by lottery only, and the lottery rounds are over.
• General ticket (entry 10:00–13:00, e-ticket): the second-round first-come sale runs until November 6 at 23:59, while stock lasts.
• Afternoon ticket (entry 13:00–15:00, e-ticket): first come, first served. November 7 tickets until November 6 at 23:59, and November 8 tickets until November 7 at 23:59.
• Evening ticket (entry 15:00–16:00, paper ticket printed at Seven-Eleven, no face recognition): on sale until 16:00 on the day, up to 3 per purchase. Bought from midnight on the day, the day-of price applies.
• Tickets are sold through animate ticket (animate-ticket.com) and need a CLUB animate membership, except the Evening ticket. Check the official ticket list for the prices.

E-ticket and face recognition

• Fast, General and Afternoon tickets are electronic and checked by face recognition. You need a CLUB animate account linked to a MOALA account, and the link cannot be undone.
• Upload a photo of your own face to MOALA before applying. It cannot be changed for one year, and a photo of an ID card can cause an error at the gate.
• The ticket is shown on MOALA Ticket in your browser. Screenshots and printouts are not accepted, and you need internet access on the day.
• The name on the ticket is fixed at purchase. Foreign visitors must use the name exactly as shown on their passport or residence card, in letters.

Goods and freebies

• Booth goods are limited and can sell out. Getting in does not guarantee that you can buy something, and payment methods differ from booth to booth.
• Shopper bags: one per person at the main venue, first come first served from 9:00 each day, with a main venue ticket. November 7 is STPR Family, and November 8 is a Disney collaboration with Break My Case.
• Ajinomoto AGF collaboration: one set of AGF Sticks per person while supplies last (two random sticks out of 36 types), and a lottery entered through LINE for coffee and café au lait sticks. A main venue ticket is required.
• Some booths also sell their goods in advance online. Each company announces its own details.

Rules worth knowing

• Tickets cannot be resold or transferred, and buying a ticket on someone's behalf or entering in their place is forbidden. Only the official resale is allowed. There are no cancellations or refunds.
• Random photo ID checks (for example a passport or a residence card).
• No eating in the venue (only drinks in bottles with lids). No coin lockers, luggage service or ATM inside, and large suitcases are banned.
• No live streaming. Photos and video only where booth signs allow, and blur other visitors' faces before posting.
• Trading is allowed only in the Blue area, with your wristband. Cosplay is allowed in the main venue, and cosplay photos only in the designated area.
• No queueing before your assigned time and no overnight waiting. Bring rain gear, as queues can be outside.

How Kizuna helps

Because proxies and substitute entry are forbidden, we cannot attend in your place with your ticket, and we do not sell tickets. What we can do is attend with our own ticket and buy booth goods for you.

• Tell us the booth, the items and your budget as early as possible. The event is on November 7–8 and booth goods can sell out.
• We can also order goods that booths sell in advance online.
• Shopper bags and freebies are given only to attendees, in limited quantities, so we cannot promise them.
• We send photos, pack carefully and ship with tracking, usually by EMS. Availability is never guaranteed until we hold the item.
