What is Ichiban Kuji?

Ichiban Kuji (一番くじ) is a lottery-draw system run mainly by Bandai Spirits, sold at convenience stores, Animate, and dedicated kuji shops across Japan. Each numbered ticket (around ¥500–800) wins a random prize from a themed set tied to one anime, game, or character license — One Piece, Demon Slayer, Jujutsu Kaisen, Dragon Ball, and more. Prizes are ranked by tier, from small goods up to a large A-prize figure.

Whoever draws the very last ticket in a box gets a bonus 'Last One Prize' — often a rare color variant of the A-prize figure, made in a single unit per box. Since each kuji campaign is a one-time run tied to a specific release, once a store sells out, that exact set never comes back — and Bandai's official Ichiban Kuji Online store restricts sales to buyers with a Japanese address.

Good to know before you request

Popular series (a new One Piece, Demon Slayer, or Jujutsu Kaisen kuji, for example) can sell out within days of release, so the sooner you reach out after a series is announced, the better our chances. We'll always tell you honestly which prizes are still in stock before we draw — remember, every draw is genuinely random, so we can't guarantee which specific prize you'll get unless you buy out the full box.
